We partnered with Premier, Europe’s biggest Christian media organisation, on a big strategic re-design of their Premier Plus listening experience. Their existing website was chock-full of live and on-demand audio content, but was no longer a clear representation of who they were and was in need of a refresh after many long years of service.
The ambitious plan was to make Premier Plus content more accessible and attractive to new users. Building a new app alongside the website provided a new way for users to interact and discover more of Premier’s live radio stations, talks, and podcasts (think BBC Sounds with extra zing).

Premier wanted to reimagine their website and create something fresh, unique, and engaging for the user. To start this process, it was important to undertake a discovery phase and come up with a cohesive plan.
Our UX/UI and Dev Leads took Premier through a series of workshops which teased out the ideas they had, plus valuable insight about what their audience need and expect. A number of different services had to be integrated with the products including an external search system, a personalisations system and an existing members database (which needed a central login).
As a result of the discovery phase we created wireframes for a website home page, outlining how it would look and work. We also produced a document of all the conclusions and an architectural data proposal.
We collaborated with Premier to combine content from different sources into a single platform, integrating them into the Premier.Plus site. We enhanced the user experience by incorporating features like custom emojis for interactive content engagement.

Following the website development, we created a complementary app that mirrors the website's functionality. This app also enables users to share content, access radio stations, and engage with additional interactive features.

In building the new website and app, we have revolutionised Premier’s digital offering. The content is accessible and interactive, the user journey is clear and concise, the project has proven a huge success. As you can imagine, we are pretty chuffed with the final thing and continue to evolve and update the two platforms frequently.
